TERM PAPERS ON POLITICS
Welfare
Whether you collect it, or you pay
for it (and for EVERY working American does one of the two), most
citizens of our country are familiar with it. Yet as every second of the
day passes, more and more of my money and yours is being allotted to
this growing epidemic called welfare. The Personal Responsibility Act,
signed by the President, was a monumental change in welfare as we know,
or used to know it. The welfare system is still in need or more strict
and stringent policy reform, yet the Personal Responsibility Act was a
prodigious step in the right direction.
What is Fascism and Why does it
Emerge?
The purpose of this essay is to
explain what fascism is and why it emerges. Fascism is a political
ideology that consists of an all powering totalitarian government, which
has total control of the people, the nation and the economy. The fascist
economic system creates an upper class for the owning/ruling class and
leaves the working class in a lower state who in turn produce for the
elite. To justify themselves as beneficial to the oppressed lower class,
the fascist installs an extreme sense of Nationalisms and organicism. If
these method do not work then force is used. Fascism emerges out of
economic crisis, a revolutionary promise and reaction to capitalism. It
is often allowed to emerge because it is usually easy to get support
from the upper class.
RICHARD
M. NIXON THE 37TH PRESIDENT
Richard Milhous Nixon came from a
family with a strong heritage. His father's side of the family were
Methodists originally from Scotland. Then, in the early 1600s, they
migrated to Ireland, and to America in the 1730s. His grandfather,
George Nixon, died in the Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil war.
Richard's father, Frank Nixon, was born in Ohio. His mother died when he
was only 7, and he left home when he was only 14. He went from town to
town doing odd jobs and eventually made his way to California where he
met his future wife, Hannah.

The American Civil War was a
grave turning point in the history of North America. It was a conflict

Southern states. The war raged for four years, from 1861 to 1865, and
was marked by some of the fiercest military campaigns in modern history.
In this essay, you will learn the causes of the American Civil war, as
well as the after effects of the war.
